HAYLE RUGBY CLUB CAR BOOT
Hayle Car Boot is now open, every Sunday.
Usual start time, vans will go onto the field from 6.15 a.m. cars will follow.
Gates will open to buyers at 8.00 a.m. Sale to end at 12.30 p.m. (this can be subject to change on the day subject to weather/buyer numbers etc – you will be informed on the day).
Good news is there is no change to the pricing this year.
Due to previous success there will be also be a Tuesday car boot through the summer. This will be held every Tuesday from 16th July until 27th August.
Sunday Morning Car Boot
Hayle Rugby Club Car Boot runs from the beginning of April to the end of September every Sunday Morning.
Entry for Sellers is at 7.00 am and Buyers can enter from 8.00am, there is a £0.50 per person entry donation charge for Buyers.
Tuesday Car Boot
Car Boot will start on Tuesday the 16th of July and run until Tuesday the 27th of August. Please note different start times.
Entry for Sellers is at 9.00 am and Buyers can enter from 10 a.m. There is a special offer of £5 for all Buyers on Tuesday.

CAR BOOT SALE – CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Sellers must provide display equipment, own table, chairs etc. Sales may only be carried out from tables in the allotted area. All sellers must only trade within their allocated site and must display their goods and operate in a safe manner. In the interest of safety a minimum aisle width must be maintained. No goods to be left on site.
Types of sellers
Private sellers only. HRFC is bound by a Section 106 Planning Agreement, limiting commercial activity. You may be asked to leave if you are found to be in breach of this condition and no refund will be given. Contact the club for advice if necessary.
Sellers are not permitted to sell illegal, hazardous or products that are not suitable to be displayed at a family based event. No tobacco, alcohol, knives, prepared food and drinks. If such items are found on display then you will be asked to remove them. If in doubt ask a marshal.
The seller is responsible for managing all risks occurring from their activity and must abide by any direction given by the supervising officer on behalf of HRFC in relation to risk management, including directions regarding the movement of vehicles in the designated car park.
Sellers must abide by the agreed latest arrival time of 8am and departure time of 1230pm. In the interest of safety, sellers’ vehicles are not permitted to leave their allocated space before 1230pm, unless in the case of an emergency, and then only with the prior approval of, and under the direction of a marshal. Unsupervised vehicle movement poses a serious risk to the safety of pedestrians and drivers MUST seek the assistance of a marshal BEFORE moving their vehicle. In the event of such necessity please seek help from staff at the clubhouse building. HRFC will not accept any responsibility for injury or damage arising from any unauthorised/unsupervised vehicle movement.
All patrons are required to conduct themselves in an acceptable manner. Threatening and/or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and any person or persons behaving in such a manner will be removed from the site. Drivers are expected to operate their vehicles in a safe manner. The site has a maximum permitted driving speed of 5 MPH. Speeding, wheel spins and/or dangerous driving will not be tolerated and any person driving in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave.
Dogs on leads please, not left in vehicles. Site staff will not hesitate to call the police for assistance and will pass on any information needed to aid them with any subsequent prosecutions.
Indemnity and Liability
All persons attending the car boot sale agree to indemnify HRFC against all liabilities, claims, demands, expenses, fees, fines, penalties, suits, proceedings and actions of any kind. The seller occupies and utilises the site at their own risk and releases HRFC from any liability for any damage of any property.
Entry to the site is deemed as acceptance of these conditions.
